The Spring Start Up service involves carefully turning on your irrigation system for the first time after winter blowout. I take special care to avoid any damage from sudden water pressure.Once the main line is pressurized, I systematically check each irrigation zone to identify any damage or coverage issues. If repairs are needed, I will inform you and ensure your system is fully operational.

In the fall, compressed air is used to blow out your irrigation system before temperatures drop below freezing, preventing potential freeze damage.With carefully adjusted pressure to a specific level, ensuring it’s sufficient to clear water from the system without overtaxing your valves and components.

Backflow Testing

Backflow is the reverse flow of solid, liquid, or gas from any source into the potable water supply, posing a serious risk of contamination and health hazards. When a backflow incident occurs, it can lead to unsafe water being transmitted to the public, with potentially severe health consequences. Backflow preventer devices are essential for mitigating these risks.As a BCWWA certified backflow tester, I will ensure your backflow preventer meets all necessary requirements. Testing is crucial and is required annually to maintain safety standards. The cost for testing is $130 per device. I will handle the submission of necessary documentation on your behalf and email you any pertinent information.

Repairs & Maintenance

Ensure your irrigation system operates efficiently with our repair and maintenance services. Service calls start at $120/hour, during which time we will troubleshoot and work to resolve any issues with your system.Please note that the cost of any necessary parts will be separate from the service call fee.

Hi, I’m Dakota. I moved from the Okanagan Valley to Vancouver, drawn by the beauty of the West Coast. I started out in landscape maintenance before transitioning into irrigation, working on residential, commercial, and apartment systems. I’ve also managed large park irrigation systems while working with a municipality.
